Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Incident Prevention in Berkeley, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a financial services location by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and follow established escalation procedures.
• Help support a professional environment by communicating clearly with site contacts, following post orders, and reporting maintenance or security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
