Objective of the position:
Lead cross-functional teams to identify the most critical field issues, analyze trends, open and manage FRACAS investigations, and escalate technical concerns to the appropriate subject matter experts (SMEs). Provide the structure, accountability, project management, and coordination needed to drive issues from identification through sustainable resolution in a timely manner.
The FQT Lead will work within a team of fellow FQT Leads and will focus on a specific portion of the vehicle. They will also own unique tertiary responsibilities, such as company and team reporting on quality, FRACAS tool and process ownership, Rate Planning, report out forums, etc.
Indispensable Requirements (Candidates who do not meet these requirements may be discarded):
- Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional projects and teams to deliver timely, data-driven results.
- Experience with structured problem-solving methodologies. Black Belt Certification, PMP Certification, or other structured problem-solving certification required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including experience presenting to and influencing upper management.
- Familiarity with DTNA products, manufacturing plants, and internal processes (e.g., engineering release, Purchasing, LCM, production operations, Compliance, Aftermarket, Service, telematics).
- Knowledge of DTNA warranty data, including data structure and trend analysis. Well-rounded knowledge of DTNA product design, system integration, layout, and/or testing (i.e., “truck knowledge”).
- Strong background in statistics, analytics, and/or forecasting, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.

Main Functions:
- Issue Identification: Monitor trends and identify emerging risks. Coordinate and lead cross-functional investigations on product quality by analyzing warranty patterns relative to product configurations
- Corrective action and reporting: Summarize the problem scope into a Failure Reporting and Corrective Action System (FRACAS), quantify failure modes and probable root causes, coordinate cross-functional teams, drive accountability and facilitate structured problem-solving and corrective actions.
- Lead tertiary responsibilities and special assignments (will be allocated based on individual skillsets, capacity, and areas of expertise, including reporting, systems, and process-related work)
- Answer report requests on various quality topics and provide analytical/statistical analysis to management as needed. Support rollout, training, and continuous improvement activities
- Support Rate Planning as a key input to setting truck rates Support developing and maintaining process documentation, training, and knowledge-sharing platforms.
