Internship details:

  • The internship will begin January 11, 2027.

  • Interns will work approximately 20–29 hours per week during the school year, with the opportunity to work up to 40 hours per week during academic breaks.

  • Anticipated graduation date of May 2027 or December 2027.

  • Applicants for this internship position with Acxiom in the U.S. must have work authorization that does not now or in the future require sponsorship of a visa for employment authorization in the United States and with Acxiom (i.e., H-1B visa, F-1 visa [CPT/OPT], TN visa, or any other non-immigrant status).

What you will do:

  • Support HR programs, projects, and day-to-day operations across the People team.

  • Assist with tracking, reporting, and coordination for HR programs and initiatives.

  • Create and distribute employee communications, resources, and other HR content.

  • Support employee engagement and Business Resource Group activities.

  • Assist with people analytics, reporting, and identifying trends or insights from HR data.

  • Respond to or help route general employee questions related to HR programs, policies, Workday, onboarding, benefits, and other resources.

  • Partner with members of the broader HR team on projects and business needs.

  • Look for opportunities to improve processes, resources, or the employee experience.

Throughout the internship, you’ll have the opportunity to build experience in areas such as:

  • People analytics and how data can inform HR and business decisions.

  • Employee engagement, communications, and development programs.

  • Talent acquisition and other areas of the People function.

  • How HR partners with leaders and teams across a global organization.

What we are looking for:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, Communications, Analytics, or a related field.

  • Strong organization and attention to detail.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through on commitments.

  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.

  • A collaborative, service-oriented approach and willingness to ask questions.

  • Sound judgment and ability to handle confidential information appropriately.

  • Comfort using Microsoft Office applications.

  • Curiosity, initiative, and an interest in learning how HR supports people and the business.

You don’t need to have all of these, but experience or exposure to any of the following is a plus:

  • Excel, including working with data, formulas, or reports.

  • Workday, an applicant tracking system, or another HR technology platform.

  • Writing or developing employee communications, guides, or other content.

  • Creating reports or presenting insights from data.

  • Using AI or emerging technology tools for school, work, research, or productivity.

Who thrives here:

We’re looking for someone who is curious, dependable, collaborative, and excited to learn. You’re comfortable asking questions, taking initiative, and trying new approaches. You enjoy working with people and information, and you’re interested in how data, technology, and thoughtful HR practices can make work better.
