Description
As an Account Manager at HPG Brands, you’ll be the driving force behind inside sales success. This customer-facing role is all about building meaningful relationships, generating new opportunities, and delivering exceptional service across all HPG subsidiaries. Working closely with our Outside and National Sales teams, as well as Sales Coordinators, you’ll play a critical role in expanding business within your assigned region.
Location: New Ulm, MN or Eagan, MN and/or Remote

- Drive revenue by meeting or exceeding monthly sales targets across all HPG brands.
- Proactively connect with customers via phone, email, and video to discuss campaigns, share solutions, and drive brand engagement.
- Support Outside Sales in meetings and follow-ups to help close deals and expand accounts.
- Identify new opportunities within existing accounts through consultative relationship management.
- Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and forecast future growth opportunities.
- Deliver fast, friendly, and effective customer service—including handling inbound calls and product suggestions for projects.
- Provide accurate and timely quotes, marketing support, and product education.
- Train and guide customers on HPG’s suite of sales tools, resources, and programs.
- Keep CRM (NetSuite) records clean and up to date with customer interactions and sales activities.
- Celebrate wins—big or small—through follow-up thank-you calls and relationship touches.
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Must be able to think freely and make decisions on own pertaining to job responsibility.
- Ability to keep calm, responsive and friendly under pressure.
- Able to handle a variety of different tasks at once as well as challenges that may arise with customers, associates, and/or vendors.

- Detail-oriented with strong accuracy and follow-through on commitments.
Bonus Skills:
- Knowledge of the promo industry landscape and seasonal buying patterns.
- Experience presenting via video conferencing tools.
- Familiarity with digital marketing or sales enablement tools.
Education and Experience: or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the key responsibilities of the job.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 1+ year of sales or account management experience (industry experience a plus).
- Strong Microsoft Office and CRM skills (NetSuite preferred).
- Experience in the promotional products or B2B industry is a plus, but not required.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
- This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
- Hours may vary slightly and will include some overtime depending on the workload.
