Assoc. Purchasing Specialist Intern

A Day in Your Life at MKS:
As an 2027 Spring Assoc Purchasing Specialist Intern at Guangzhou EQ Plant, you will partner with others to contribute In this role, you will report to the Sr Supv, Purchasing.

You Will Make an Impact By:

1. Perform day-to-day purchasing functions efficiently and effectively in an equipment manufacturing environment.
2. Work closely with the Procurement (Sourcing) team and Equipment Design Department to support the development and the design of the new equipment.
3. PO management, order processing and following up to achieve the high standard OTD performance. To drive for improvements and fulfillment of KPI requirements, especially for delivery, quality and cost targets.
4. Supplier consignment activities. (Agreement, order process, stock monitoring, payment follow up);
5. Understand market and customer needs, actively drive for the sourcing and qualification of new materials and supplier for the new equipment for different applications in PCB electroplating & GMF plating industry for local market; 
6. To support management in achieving polity compliance in purchasing.  
7. Ensuring know-how and confidentiality in the area of responsibility.
8. Build up the efficient material purchasing team to support the project production schedule.
9. Complete work responsibility in annual objective setting.
10. Perform HSE-S responsibility according to HSE-S commitment letter.
11.Other tasks assigned by the company or superior.
