Why this role matters
The Electrical Engineer will play a key role in the successful delivery of the wind farm electrical construction scope. Working as part of the site electrical team, you will support the Electrical Lead in ensuring that electrical installation activities are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with approved engineering documents, specifications, quality requirements, and project schedule.
What you’ll be doing
In this role, you will:
- Supervise and monitor electrical construction activities at the wind farm site, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Coordinate and follow up electrical installation works including MV cables, transformers, switchgear, RMUs, earthing systems, auxiliary systems, and turbine electrical interfaces.
- Inspect and verify the quality of electrical installations and ensure that works are completed according to approved method statements and inspection requirements.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and construction teams to resolve technical and site execution issues and maintain construction progress.
- Identify construction issues, technical deviations, and interface constraints and support timely resolution with the relevant project teams.
- Review electrical drawings, layouts, cable schedules, single-line diagrams, and technical documents to support site execution.

What you’ll bring
Experience and qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in electrical construction, preferably in wind, solar, substations, or other power projects.
- Practical experience with MV/HV electrical systems, including cables, transformers, switchgear/RMUs, earthing, and auxiliary systems.
- Strong ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, cable schedules, layouts, and technical specifications.
- Experience supervising electrical installation activities, coordinating subcontractors, and following up construction progress and quality.
- Fluent in English, spoken and written (and other languages if needed or ideal)
