Normandy Farm Hotel is looking for reliable, hardworking, team-oriented Kitchen Stewards (Dishwashers) to keep our busy kitchen running smoothly. You’ll play an important behind-the-scenes role in helping our culinary team deliver exceptional food and memorable experiences to our guests.

The Schedule
This is a part-time position with the opportunity to work up to 30-40 hours per week.
Must be available to work a minimum of 3 shifts per week.
PM Shift: 4:00 PM until approximately 12:00 AM–2:00 AM
Weekend, evening, and holiday availability is required.
What You’ll Do
As a Kitchen Steward, you’ll help keep the entire operation clean, organized, safe, and ready for service. You’ll be an essential member of the team by:
- Keeping dishes, glasses, silverware, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment clean and sanitized.
- Keeping the kitchen sparkling by cleaning stoves, ovens, grills, refrigerators, and other equipment.
- Maintaining an organized supply of clean dishes and returning items to their proper places.
- Helping keep the kitchen and surrounding areas clean, sanitary, and ready for the next service.
- Following established cleaning schedules and sanitation procedures.
- Attending training sessions and team meetings.
- Working collaboratively with cooks, chefs, servers, and other team members.
- Communicating respectfully and positively with coworkers and management.
- Following all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Speaking up and notifying management when you notice a problem or something that needs attention.
- Pitching in wherever needed to help the kitchen team succeed.
Requirements
You don’t need years of experience to be successful in this role. We’re looking for someone who is:
- 18 years of age or older
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Dependable, hardworking, and ready to stay active throughout the shift
- A positive team player who works well with others
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Familiar with basic food and beverage service standards and proper etiquette
- Willing to learn and follow instructions
- Committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and sanitation
- Available to work weekends, evening shifts, major holidays, and special events
- Able to stand, walk, push, carry, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and crouch for extended periods
- Able to lift up to 25 pounds independently and more than 50 pounds with assistance
- Equipped with reliable transportation
