As a QC-Analyst (Microbiology-Shift) you will support routine QC sampling and testing for environmental and product samples (Eg. bioburden testing, endotoxin testing, etc).

This role will be required to perform shift.

What you’ll do:

  • Perform microbiology and environmental monitoring (EM) testing on raw materials, in-process samples, bulk products, and environmental samples.

  • Conduct microbiological tests such as bioburden, LAL, microbial plating and counting, and microbial identification.

  • Review and document test results accurately in compliance with cGMP, SOPs, and approved test methods.

  • Monitor and analyze microbiological trends, identify unusual results, and prepare required reports.

  • Support laboratory investigations and troubleshooting when there are unexpected or out-of-specification results.

  • Troubleshoot analytical methods and laboratory equipment and help resolve technical issues.

  • Participate in method transfer, method validation, equipment qualification, and selection of QC equipment, standards, and reagents.

  • Support process and environmental microbiology investigations when required.

  • Maintain the laboratory, including equipment maintenance, housekeeping, and inventory management of laboratory supplies.

  • Ensure all laboratory activities and documentation are completed accurately and in accordance with cGMP requirements.

What we’re looking for:

  • Degree/Diploma in a relevant Chemistry, Science field or Equivalent.

  • Relevant experience and accomplishment to dictate final position for which the candidate may qualify.

  • Well versed in cGMP regulations.

  • Knowledge of area specific responsibilities.

  • Good problem solving and analytical skills.
