As the Senior Human Resources Business Partner, at RXO you will administer HR policies and programs to assigned sites. You will put your leadership skills and years of experience to use by training and communicating with employees, balancing multiple medium-sized projects and developing collaborative working relationships with business partners and technical experts. On our team, you’ll have the support to excel at work and the resources to build a rewarding career.
This role will be based on-site Monday–Thursday at our office in Charlotte, NC located at 11215 N Community House Rd, Charlotte, NC 28277
What your day-to-day will look like:
Work closely with sites and the HR team to ensure an open-door climate exists, resulting in excellent customer service
Responsible for the tactical execution of HR policies and strategic initiatives within the supported line of business.
Assists managers and employees with day-to-day HR activities and compliance.
Inform senior management and operations of internal and external HR developments that impact overall effectiveness
Compile reports and provide them to upper management
Ensure HR office is in compliance with all corporate policies and directives
Requires monthly travel to business sites-up to 50% of the time
What you’ll need to excel:
At a minimum, you’ll need:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work or military experience
5 years of HR experience in a sales, transportation, or equivalent environment at a senior level
Experience in employee relations, policy and procedure administration, recruiting and staffing, HRIS and time-keeping systems
Experience with Microsoft Office
It’d be great if you also have:
Ability to provide management with proactive ideas on creating and maintaining a positive employee relations climate
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Bilingual English/Spanish
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
