We're seeking someone to join our Centralized Management Projects team as a Business Analyst (Associate) in Finance Division.

In the Finance division, we act as a partner to business units around the globe by providing management, review, analysis and advisory services of the Firm's financial and capital resources. This is an Associate level position within the Portfolio & Change Management.

The Finance Centralised Management project team is responsible for managing a considerable percentage of Finance's technology spend, helping to deliver across a portfolio of projects including, Regulatory Capital, Leverage and Reporting, Financial Accounting and General Ledger renovation. The team is also front and centre of the technology architecture discussions. The team supports EU, Global and local regulatory driven initiatives across Financial and Capital Reporting including Basel 3, Capital Calculators, FED, SEC, PRA & EBA reporting initiatives.

Regulatory Reporting (US & EMEA) requirements are evolving with a rapidly increasing scope of requirements due to changing regulatory environment. The role is to support the Projects in Regulatory Reporting Domain. The candidate needs to be able to work with geographically dispersed groups across IT and Finance in a very dynamic, rapidly evolving and high pressure, high visibility project setting. The candidate is expected to support regular application releases.

What you’ll do in the role:
- Collaborate with a varied group of colleagues in Finance and across the Firm
- Responsible for both individual and team deliverables and projects, leveraging knowledge of Finance functional area, tools and/or products
- Adhere to the Firm's risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls
- Act as a culture carrier; embody the Firm's values and hold yourself accountable to Firm standards
- Business analysis in support of US/EMEA reporting requirements focused initially on US regulatory/capital requirements
- Liaison with Clients and IT colleagues to identify new requirements, create user stories and track prioritization and remediation.
- Develop collaborative relationships with a squad working across different departments and regions.
- Contribute to key project workstreams relating to regulatory reports
- Take part in Squad/Fleet Agile ceremonies providing updates and reporting for Clients and Senior Management.
- Responsible for conducting and facilitating User Acceptance Testing of the requirements
- Communicate and escalate to line management as appropriate.
- Adhere to the Firm's risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls

- Working knowledge of Finance functional area, industry and competitive environment
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, and adapt to various audiences
- Willingness to seek guidance and provide feedback to further develop self and peers
Subject Matter Expertise in any of external financial disclosures and/or regulatory reporting or Capital calculations is preferred.
- Knowledge of Banking business and related products
- Excellent organizational skills with an ability to manage to tight deadlines whilst balancing multiple priorities.
- Highly numerate with an attention to detail and accuracy, coupled with strong analytical and documentation skills.
- Experience of data modelling and investigation with the ability to identify issues, develop and implement practical solutions.
- Ability to understand and evaluate processes and key controls. Experienced in implementing change effectively to improve existing processes.
- Excellent communication skills (both oral and written) and ability to liaise with colleagues/clients of all levels.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work consistently and efficiently to achieve goals either as an individual or as part of a team.
- Experience of Microsoft Office and project management tools such as Microsoft Office tools like Excel and Visio.
- Experience of investigating, summarising and presenting results in a meaningful format to clients and Senior Management.
- At least 2 years' relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role
