This position is based out of Toyota Motor North America Headquarters in Plano, TX.

  

Who we’re looking for

 

Toyota’s Warranty Administration Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Warranty Publications Analyst.

 

The primary responsibility of this role is to fully understand emissions regulations and coverages, and manage warranty publications, including warranty guides, field and dealer communications and warranty pocket handbooks. 

 

Reporting to the Warranty Administration Manager, the person in this role will support the Warranty Administration Department’s objective to meet all deadlines and compliance regulations for warranty and emissions guides, as well as other publications.  The team member in this position will be expected to proactively monitor industry developments and help guide the teams through any changes that affect our products or processes. The team member in this position will also work with several departments across the company as well as TMC-QD regarding emissions coverages for upcoming models.

 

What you’ll be doing

  • Edit and update Warranty and Emissions Guides for Toyota and Lexus
  • Edit and update Warranty Pocket Handbooks
  • Serve as SME for all Emissions related questions, updates and changes
  • Collaborate with Service Information team, Certification teams, TMC-QD, and others
  • Maintain inventory of warranty-related materials at the MDC
  • Author and distribute field and dealer communications relating to the Warranty Department
  • Administer the Warranty Resource Center
  • Cross-train to support and provide backup to other functions within the Administration team
  • Other ad-hoc duties as necessary

 

What you bring

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Understanding of emissions warranty coverage
  • Demonstrated analytical and critical thinking skills
  • 3+ years of automotive fixed operations experience
  • Intermediate or above skill level with MS Office products
  • Strong communications skills, both verbal and written
  • Great attention to detail

Added bonus if you have

  • Bi-lingual (Spanish or Japanese)
  • 5+ years experience in warranty or fixed operations
  • Experience with professional publications
  • Experience with regulatory compliance
  • Detailed understanding of evolving CARB and Federal Emissions regulations
