Overview
Are you good with people, competitive by nature, and ready for a career where your growth is tied to your performance?
Freedom Insurance Group, powered by American Senior Benefits has a hands-on development role designed for someone who wants to learn professional sales, build a client base, and develop into a future sales leader.
You’ll start by learning the business from the ground up—working with clients, learning our sales process and products, and building the skills necessary to eventually coach and lead others.
- Leadership development, not just sales training. Learn the skills needed to grow from producer to sales management.
- Mentorship from experienced leadership. Freedom Insurance Group President Jeff Lambdin brings more than 20 years of insurance sales and leadership experience.
- A broad product portfolio. Access solutions from more than 220 leading insurance carriers instead of trying to make one company’s product fit every client.
- Company-supported marketing to help you build your business.
- Career growth based on performance. We are looking for people who want greater responsibility as they develop.
- Local Monroe office with a hybrid business model.
- Build a career helping individuals and families make important decisions about Medicare, life insurance, annuities, retirement solutions, final expense and long-term care.
Responsibilities
- Complete structured sales and product training.
- Learn our proven client consultation and sales process.
- Meet with prospective clients and identify their insurance and retirement needs.
- Educate clients on available solutions from multiple carriers.
- Develop strong client relationships through follow-up and exceptional customer service.
- Generate new business using company-supported marketing and prospecting resources.
- Learn the fundamentals of sales management, coaching, recruiting and team development.
- Work with leadership to set and achieve individual production and professional-development goals.
- As you progress, begin helping develop and support other sales professionals.
Qualifications
-
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- A competitive, self-motivated attitude.
- The ability to be coached—and the desire to eventually coach others.
- Professionalism, integrity and a genuine desire to help people.
- Confidence speaking with new people and explaining solutions clearly.
- Strong organization and follow-through.
- Basic computer skills.
- A Health & Life insurance license or the willingness to obtain one.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Reliable transportation and the ability to work from our Monroe office as needed.
Insurance experience is not required. Sales, customer service, retail management, hospitality, athletics, military, recruiting or other performance-driven backgrounds can translate extremely well into this opportunity.
If you’re looking for an entry-level sales career with training, mentorship, professional development and a path into sales management, we’d like to meet you.
