Overview
We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated Electronic Data Interchange/ EFT Enrollment Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing the enrollment processes within Electronic Data Interchange clearinghouses.
Responsibilities
- Complete Registration: Ensure registration is received and completed thoroughly and in a timely manner.
- Generate and Monitor EDI Agreements: Follow up on agreements to meet specific implementation deadlines.
- Monitor Accounts: Investigate and resolve enrollment denials, errors, and correspondence with payers.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of the account throughout the enrollment process.
- Customer Service: Address customer requests in Service Plus for EDI clearinghouse issues, such as but not limited to, setting up new users, adding permission, adding workgroups.
- Maintain working knowledge of workflow, systems, and tools used in the department.
Qualifications
- In-depth Knowledge: Understanding of the EDI enrollment process.
- Communication Skills: Clear and effective verbal and written communication.
- Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Analytical Skills: Excellent troubleshooting and analytical abilities.
- Self-Motivation: Ability to multitask and work independently as well as in a team setting.
- Proficiency in EDI software and clearinghouse platforms (e.g., Availity, Waystar etc.).
- Strong numerical aptitude and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Detail-oriented and meticulous.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity.
- Travel up to 25%
