Job Summary:
Supports EMS operations by delivering technical assistance, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring infrastructure readiness to maintain reliable system performance. Achieves results through timely issue resolution, sustained system reliability, and strict adherence to compliance and change‑control requirements.Job Description:
Monitors and reports any anomaly of historian dashboards, SCADA points, one‑line diagrams, and EMS reports. Review and troubleshoot and/or fix these, using assigned tools to ensure accurate and reliable data availability, and prompt issue resolution.
Inspects UPS, HVAC, servers, and communication devices while performing routine maintenance and repairs on EMS‑related equipment to verify operational readiness, ensure optimal functionality, and reduce downtime.
Troubleshoots EMS applications, OT workstations and daily reports system logs and issues to specialists to enable quick service restoration, proactive maintenance, and effective incident response.
Verifies adherence to technical procedures and safety protocols while tracking and documenting completed work to ensure task accuracy, compliance with internal standards, and reliable records for future troubleshooting.
Follows established company policies, procedures, and standards to ensure full compliance with applicable laws and industry regulations.
Participates in storm restoration tasks and assigned drills to contribute to the safe and reliable recovery of services.
Performs additional tasks aligned with role expectations and qualifications to support team goals and operational flexibility.

Education
Technical Degree or Associate's Degree on Information Technology, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field.
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field, preferred.
Experience
1-3 years of hands-on experience in a technical or support role.
1 year of experience in SCADA /PLC environment.
Experience working with configuration of RTU’s or PLC’s will be a strong asset.
Competencies (Skills)
Industrial Control Systems Knowledge: Good understanding of SCADA, FEP, ICCP, RTUs, HMIs, PLCs, displays, and communication protocols such as DNP3 and Modbus.
Scripting: Ability to write and debug scripts.
Technical Troubleshooting: Ability to configure and troubleshoot applications, networks, servers, databases, and desktop computers.
Operating Systems & Databases: Proficiency in Windows Server 2016, Windows 10, Linux, and databases.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
Communication & Collaboration: Effective communication and collaborative approach.
Bilingual Proficiency: Bilingual (Spanish/English) strongly preferred.
