About the Team

Finance Solution Consultants leverage their in-depth product knowledge of Workday’s finance enterprise software and industry knowledge to provide deep functional expertise throughout the sales process.

About the Role

Working as part of the Solution Consulting team, individual Solution Consultants partner with the field sales team to engage in discovery around an organisation's current environment and deliver relevant, impactful presentations and product demonstrations that illustrate how Workday’s Enterprise applications address requirements, solve business concerns, and create real business value.

Workday Netherlands are looking for a Senior Solution Consultant specialised in Financial Solutions to join our Dutch New Business team. This is an opportunity to be part of building something incredible alongside some of the most talented individuals in the market!

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver relevant technical product presentations, demonstrations, workshops, and seminars.

• Assist in the closure of sales opportunities by demonstrating a complete understanding of and resolving questions regarding our solution, services, and training.

• Contribute to the qualification of prospects, proposed demonstration criteria, proof-of-concept (POC) system builds, and sales cycle closure plans.

• Partner proactively with Sales in demand generation of new opportunities leveraging your creative and commercial skills in activities like content creation, event support, marketing initiatives and channel partnerships

• Assist sales in the response to RFIs and RFPs.

• Build trusted-advisor relationships with key customer stakeholders, partner eco-system, influencers, and decision-makers in evaluation processes (with a focus on the CFO suite).

• Continuously upgrade your skillset and knowledge through the learning opportunities provided by Workday.

• Lead complex deal cycles from a functional perspective, driving the solution strategy from initial discovery through to closure.

• Act as a strategic partner for customers and prospects, demonstrating and highlighting the unique business value and ROI of Workday Financials.

• Collaborate strongly with Sales and Value Management to align on account strategies, tailor messaging, and build compelling business cases.

About You

Basic Qualifications (BQs)

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Solution Consulting / Sales Engineer / Presales role presenting enterprise software solutions.

• Minimum of 5 years of functional or domain experience within the Financials / ERP space (e.g., core accounting, FP&A, financial operations).

• Professional fluency in Dutch and English (both written and spoken).
   

Other Qualifications (OQs)

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or equivalent practical experience

• Demonstrated experience presenting to and collaborating with Chief Financial Officer (CFO) suites and senior financial stakeholders.

• Commercial, marketing, or proactive demand-generation experience within a high-growth sales environment.

• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-performance, collaborative team environment ("Champions League" mindset).

• Understanding of how AI, Machine Learning, and Generative AI are transforming the Office of the CFO.

Listed below is the base salary range applicable to this position. Workday pay ranges (and the precise pay offered to the successful candidate) are based on a number of objective criteria such as relevant experience and skills, and educational qualifications, level of responsibility, demands of the role, work location and business need. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants awarded by Workday Inc. Primary Location Base Pay Range: €72,300 EUR - €108,500 EUR Netherlands
