This position reports to:
Supervisor (IPS)__
Responsible for the work of operators in the functions of IPS( IN process stores, Order pulling, Incoming and Tugger operations of the facility. Ensuring team members have the necessary tools, equipment and support necessary to perform their job. Communicate pertinent information with the supervisor, the oncoming shift, and other departments daily.
You will be mainly accountable for:
Safety
- Understands and follows plant safety policies and procedures.
- Avoids or prevents hazardous conditions from developing.
- Wears required protective equipment.
- Dresses and conducts self in a safe manner.
- Keeps work area clean and orderly and maintains Lean 5S.
- Participates in plant safety objectives.
Job Functions
- Participates in plant safety objectives.
- Understands and follows plant safety and procedures.
- Serves as leader during shifts to oversee cooperation and the resolution of technical/quality problems and logistic issues.
- Ensure team members are well prepared to succeed in their work.
- Provides regular feedback and makes recommendations to supervisor regarding issues within the production lines including organization, shifting priorities and possible critical issues.
- Assists supervisor is staff movement in case of vacations, illness, machine outages, or shifting priorities.
- Reinforces focus on Accuracy, volume, efficiency, and on-time delivery.
- Responsible for pulling inventory, moving stocks, storing materials, inventory control and managing material location.
- Oversees material counts/location in coordination with storekeeper, ensuring correct inventory.
- Maintains receipts and issues of the raw material and manufactured components.
- Ensures quality operation of the process, performs quality checks and controls, including adherence to cleaning and maintenance.
- Must maintain pre-determined efficiency, standards, and productivity rates.
- Ensures shift change is completed, and forms are filled out with accurate and appropriate information.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
- Previous experience in physically demanding work in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Additional duties may be assigned to meet business needs.
- Can work up to 20 hours of overtime to meet Business Objectives
- Can work a weekend schedule Business Objectives
- Trained in Inventory management system – LX.

- Ability to communicate, read, write, and understand various written instructions in English
- Bend, twist & turn in a safe manner
- Lift up to 40 Pounds
- Stand for long periods
- Good hand dexterity
- Strong math skills
