For this position, the perfect Rhino should have the following skills:
- 4+ years of experience working in a Security Operations Center (SOC), or equivalent technical training, monitoring, analysing and protecting systems against cyber-attacks, malware, data threats and other security incidents.
- Knowledge of security monitoring tools such as DarkTrace, CrowdStrike, GuardDuty, or equivalent.
- Solid knowledge of network infrastructures (LAN/WAN) and network technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS/NTP, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), and MPLS.
- Ability to handle, track, review, and prioritise tickets and tasks in accordance with SLAs.
- Strong team-player mindset, with the ability to proactively identify, own, and escalate issues that could impact service delivery.
- Willingness and ability to quickly learn new security and network technologies, often without formal training.
- Availability to work in a 24/7 shift system, covering market operational hours.
- Fluency in English (B2).
- Availability for hybrid work based in Porto (3 days on-site per week), candidates should already be based in Portugal, with Portuguese or EU citizenship, or a valid work permit.
