Job Scope 

High-level purpose of function 

The Clean and Dry Room Supervisor ensures optimal environmental conditions within clean and dry rooms to support high-quality battery production. This role acts as the primary liaison between production and facilities teams during shifts, proactively maintaining room integrity and coordinating cleaning operations. 

Key Responsibilities 

Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to) 

  • Shift Focal Point: Serve as the main contact for the Shift Production Manager regarding clean and dry room conditions. 

  • Condition Monitoring: Detect early signs of environmental deviation (e.g., humidity, particle count, temperature) and collaborate with technicians and engineers to resolve issues promptly. 

  • Process Improvement: Provide recommendations for improving work instructions and standard operating procedures related to room maintenance and cleanliness. 

  • Resource Coordination: Supervise and coordinate internal and external cleaning teams to ensure compliance with cleanroom standards and production requirements. 

  • Promotion of HSE: Actively promote Health, Safety, and Environmental practices within clean and dry room operations, ensuring all activities align with company HSE policies and standards. 

  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate logs of room conditions, cleaning schedules, and incident reports. 

  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to ISO cleanroom standards and internal quality protocols.

  • Budget responsibility: No 

  • Direct reports: No 

  • Manager work environment responsibility: No 

  • All employees are accountable for complying with safety regulations and actively supporting a safe workplace. 

Requirements 

Educational background and previous experience required for the role 

Qualifications and Experience 

  • Vocational or technical diploma in engineering, facility management, or related field. 

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in cleanroom operations, preferably in battery or semiconductor manufacturing. 

Specific skills 

  • Strong understanding of cleanroom classifications and environmental control systems. 

  • Ability to interpret data from monitoring systems (e.g., particle counters, humidity sensors). 

  • Familiarity with GMP, ISO 14644, and ESD protocols. 

  • Proficient in coordinating cross-functional teams and shift operations.
