Job Summary:

Role: Digital Marketing Manager, Voice & Channel (Management)

Location: New York, NY (In-office, 5 days a week)

Reports to: Sr. Director, Voice & Channel (Management)

The Role:

The Digital Marketing Manager, Voice & Channel will execute real-time social strategy across Roc Nation’s artist management roster and Roc Nation social channels. This hands-on role is responsible for driving daily online conversation, capturing real-time content, and maintaining an active, culturally resonant social presence across all major platforms.

Working closely with the Digital Marketing Strategy team, the Manager operationalizes campaign plans into daily posting schedules, live event coverage, and audience engagement. 

Additionally, this role acts as the primary day-to-day digital point of contact for assigned management clients, managing direct artist requests, coordinating asset approvals, capturing behind-the-scenes content, and supporting the artist's digital footprint across music releases, brand partnerships, and live events.

Key Responsibilities:

Voice & Channel Execution

  • Execute social strategies developed by the Digital Marketing Strategy team across assigned artist management accounts and Roc Nation social channels, ensuring daily alignment with brand standards and campaign timelines

  • Support real-time social monitoring and response protocols to capture trending moments, news, and key artist milestones (releases, awards, press, tour announcements)

  • Coordinate directly with artist managers and external teams to process social post approvals and asset delivery in a timely manner.

  • Capture and produce high-quality, mobile-first content (iPhone photography, short-form video, reels) on-site at shoots, shows, press events, and red carpets

  • Assist in directing real-time event coverage, developing shot lists, and assisting external freelance content creators (photographers, videographers) on-site

  • Collaborate with internal marketing and promotional teams to identify and amplify top-performing organic social content

  • Stay up to date on platform updates, algorithm shifts, and viral trends, proactively bringing creative execution ideas to the strategy team

Channel Operations & Workflow Support

  • Coordinate daily publishing schedules, rapid-response workflows, and content calendars using social management and scheduling tools

  • Oversee day-to-day deliverables from junior coordinators, assistants, or external social vendors as assigned, ensuring brand voice consistency

  • Support staffing, scheduling, and travel logistics for on-site social coverage at priority events, tours, and shoots

Management Client – Primary Digital Point of Contact

  • Serve as the primary daily digital contact for assigned artist management clients, assisting with social media posting, digital campaigns, and online brand presence

  • Maintain direct, professional communication with the artist and their team for real-time social requests, content capture, and approval cycles

  • Travel with assigned artists to video sets, performances, campaign shoots, and appearances to capture behind-the-scenes content and manage live posting

  • Facilitate community management by monitoring fan engagement, tracking trend participation, and engaging with key fan accounts to support fanbase growth

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field preferred

  • 3–5 years of experience in digital marketing, social media management, or content creation within entertainment, music, or agency environments

  • Proven experience managing social media accounts for talent, brands, or media outlets

  • Experience with social publishing and listening tools (e.g., Dash Hudson, Sprout Social, Hootsuite) and basic creative editing applications

  • Solid fluency in execution across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, Threads, Snapchat, and emerging platforms

  • Strong hands-on skills in mobile photography, video capture, and real-time editing using mobile tools (CapCut, Canva, Adobe Express/Lightroom)

  • Professional demeanor with experience working directly with high-profile talent and key stakeholders in fast-paced environments

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tight deadlines and adapt to real-time, fluid schedules

  • Willingness to travel and support digital requests outside standard business hours for live events, releases, and real-time moments

The expected compensation for this position is:

$76,000.00 USD - $95,000.00 USD

** Pay is based on a number of factors including market location, qualifications, skills, and experience.
