Nursing Clinical Instructor
South College - Indianapolis Campus is conducting a search for the position of adjunct clinical instructor to teach in the School of Nursing.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain professional standards of practice in teaching in the clinical settings.
- Collaborate with course faculty and works closely with clinical coordinator.
- Facilitate effective learning and critical thinking/reasoning during clinical while fostering a positive learning environment.
- Establishes and maintains a positive working relationship with clinical agencies.
- Monitors student progress with evaluations and grades care plans as assigned. Provides positive and constructive feedback if needed.
Requirements
Education
- Master's degree in Nursing Required or
- Bachelor's degree and enrolled in a master's level Nursing program or
- Bachelor's degree and enrolled in or completed a nurse educator certificate program
Licensure
- Hold an unrestricted license to practice in Indiana.
Experience
- Previous teaching and/or clinical experience in Pathophysiology.
- Prefer experience in secondary instruction.
