Workers' Compensation Claims Adjuster
Job Summary
Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Workers' Compensation Claims Adjuster to join a team. This role involves supervising and mentoring a team of adjusters, overseeing claims operations, and ensuring compliance with New York Workers' Compensation requirements. This is a temp-to-permanent opportunity with a competitive compensation package and excellent benefits.

Responsibilities
- Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of Workers' Compensation Claims Adjusters.
- Oversee daily claims operations, including workload distribution, productivity, and service levels.
- Monitor claim files for quality, accuracy, and compliance with New York Workers' Compensation requirements.
- Conduct regular file reviews and provide actionable feedback to adjusters.
- Provide technical guidance on complex claims, including litigated, compensability, investigation, reserving, and settlement issues.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Workers' Compensation claims handling, with significant expertise in New York jurisdictional claims.
- At least 2 years of supervisory, management, or team-lead experience (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of New York Workers' Compensation laws, regulations, and claims practices.
- Experience handling lost-time/indemnity claims, including complex and litigated matters.
