Position Overview:
The Senior Manager, Peer-to-Peer Strategy will lead the development and execution of peer-to-peer (P2P) education, with a core focus on advisory boards, KOL engagement, and insight generation. This role will translate brand strategy into high-impact HCP educational experiences and ensure insights from KOL and HCP engagement inform brand and commercial strategy.
The role requires a strategic, hands-on leader who can build and evolve P2P capabilities, pull through relationships with national and regional KOLs, and manage initiatives from strategy through execution. The successful candidate will operate effectively across Brand, Medical Affairs, Sales, Legal, Compliance, and external partners in a nimble, evolving organization.

Key Responsibilities
Advisory Boards & Insight Generation:
  • Lead advisory board strategy and execution, including objectives, key business questions, KOL selection, agenda development, contracting, facilitation, and post-meeting deliverables.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure advisory boards address meaningful strategic questions and generate actionable insights.
  • Synthesize HCP and KOL perspectives into clear themes and recommendations that inform brand strategy, educational priorities, and customer engagement.
  • Establish effective processes for sharing insights and recommendations with senior leadership and relevant cross-functional teams.
Peer-to-Peer Education & Strategy:
  • Develop and execute the P2P education strategy in alignment with brand objectives and HCP educational needs.
  • Build, launch, and evolve P2P platforms and programs across live, virtual, and hybrid channels.
  • Translate brand strategy into relevant, compelling, and compliant HCP educational experiences.
  • Partner with Brand and Medical Affairs to ensure P2P content is strategically aligned, scientifically rigorous, and responsive to HCP needs.
  • Evaluate program effectiveness and identify opportunities to optimize the P2P strategy and customer experience.
KOL Engagement & Strategy:
  • Partner with Thought Leader Liaisons to identify and engage appropriate thought leaders for advisory boards, P2P education, speaker programs and strategic initiatives
  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with KOLs and other influential HCP stakeholders to support P2P education and broader brand objectives.
  • Identify evolving KOL perspectives, educational needs, and practice dynamics to uncover opportunities for meaningful engagement and inform P2P strategy.
  • Lead KOL and faculty engagement across advisory boards, P2P education, speaker programs, and other strategic initiatives.
  • Oversee HCP identification, onboarding, contracting, training, and engagement in partnership with Legal, Compliance, and external partners.
Cross-Functional Leadership & Execution:
  • Serve as the primary strategic and operational lead for P2P initiatives, partnering across Brand, Medical Affairs, Sales, Commercial Operations, Legal, and Compliance.
  • Lead complex initiatives from strategy through execution, establishing clear objectives, timelines, ownership, and deliverables.
  • Manage agency and vendor partners, budgets, contracts, timelines, and program performance.
  • Demonstrate strong executive presence when presenting recommendations to senior leadership and facilitating strategic discussions with KOLs and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Anticipate risks, resolve barriers, and drive decisions to maintain momentum and executional excellence.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or related field.
  • 5–7+ years of progressive commercial pharmaceutical or biotechnology experience.
  • Hematology-Oncology and/or Rare Disease experience strongly preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial, brand marketing, medical education, P2P education, and/or KOL management.
  • Experience leading advisory boards and translating HCP and KOL insights into actionable brand and commercial strategies.
  • Demonstrated success developing and executing HCP engagement and P2P education strategies within rare disease or other highly specialized markets.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare compliance requirements related to HCP engagement, advisory boards, and speaker programs.
  • Demonstrated experience engaging and building productive relationships with national and regional KOLs.
  • Experience supporting product launches and/or growth-stage brands.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to engage senior commercial leadership, KOLs, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Strong strategic thinking, project leadership, facilitation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to independently manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced, nimble, and evolving organization.


The expected salary range for this position based on greater Boston, MA location is $137,700 - 178,500. Actual salary pay will be based on multiple factors, including geographic location, experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
