Department Overview

With the mission of "preventing fraud and maximizing the efficiency of procurement activities and through suppliers and procurement management within all Rakuten Group Companies", we are working on establishing and improving a procurement governance framework and developing a supplier management scheme for the Rakuten Group.
Now we are strengthening procurement governance through establishment and implementation of standard process. We deploy it to mainly overseas companies. It is able to work in fast-paced, international and dynamic environment.

Position Details

・Establishing and implementing policy and rule for Rakuten group’s procurement
・Promoting optimize procurement organization structure
・Establishing and improving the procurement operation monitoring process
・Creating and providing training materials, manual for procurement governance
・Supporting group companies in procurement governance and compliance activities

Work Environment

Global Procurement Governance Section consists of 5 members (Collaborate with the Global Procurement Governance Section)

Mandatory Qualifications:

・Practical or management experience in the fields of procurement or auditor.
・English/Japanese (business level)

Desired Qualifications:

・Experience of development/improvement of procurement process, implementing internal rule and training for procurement governance
・Experience of project management through collaboration with relevant sections or outside vendors
・Experience or knowledge of Procurement
・Knowledge of Accounting
・Knowledge of Auditing (e.g. SOX)
