HP Service Supply Chain organization is looking for a Strategic Partner Manager to contribute to the design and implementation of its Partner Strategy and manage the directly relationship and business model with strategic partners going forward.
This role combines unique mastery and recognized authority on relevant subject matter knowledge including technologies, theories and techniques. The successful candidate will contribute to the development of innovative principles, ideas and executive process management, provide highly innovative solutions to supplier/partner engagement, performance and transformation including the leverage of automation and AI, and lead large, cross-division functional teams or projects that affect the organization's long-term goals and objectives. May participate in cross-division, multi-function teams, routinely exercises independent judgment in developing methods, techniques and criteria for achieving objectives, and develop strategy and sets functional policy and direction.
Responsibilities
Independently structures analytical approaches and develops service partner strategies by applying advanced, in-depth supply chain and industry knowledge.
Leverage AI tools and process improvement methodologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Interprets data to create new processes, strategies, and tools to be used for supply chain business objectives and improve partner operational performance.
Leads large, cross- functional project teams, providing mentoring and guidance in support of building and maintaining the strategic supplier/partner roadmap.
Consults with business executives (internally and externally) on a wide range of high-level supply chain issues, including risk management and new growth opportunities.
Drives process improvements, cost savings through effective negotiations with partners and stakeholders.
Guide complex negotiations with partners and suppliers regarding commercial terms, pricing structures, service models, and performance commitments
Education & Experience Recommended
Four-year or Graduate Degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations management, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
Typically has 10+ years of work experience, preferably in supply chain, operations, and strategic partner management, or related strategic business functions.
Experience participating in large-scale transformation, automation, digitalization, or AI-enabled business initiatives.
Demonstrated success coordinating complex cross-functional programs in a global business environment.
Knowledge & Skills
Demonstrated experience managing strategic supplier or partner relationships, including commercial negotiations and executive stakeholder engagement.
Knowledge and experience in field service delivery and reverse supply chain a plus.
Strong business acumen with targeted knowledge and experience in procurement, planning, warehousing and logistics including reverse supply chain flows.
Advanced analytical and problem solving skills with proven track record in financial modeling and business case creation.
Extensive knowledge of and ability to manage complex financial analysis and modeling.
Advanced written and verbal communication, presentation, stakeholder communication and persuasion skills; mastery in English and local language.
Proven ability to communicate effectively and influence at executive (VP+) level.
Advanced team and project management skills, including project structuring and managing multiple work streams independently.
