Hours: 7am-4pm
What You’ll Do
As a CAD Technician, you’ll be at the heart of our design process, transforming architectural visions into detailed, buildable models using SolidWorks. You’ll work closely with project managers, engineers, and field teams to bring projects from concept to fabrication.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Interpreting architectural and structural drawings to capture design intent and attachment conditions.
Collaborating with sales and project managers to develop preliminary and shop drawings.
Creating and revising engineering and fabrication drawings that guide our production teams.
Coordinating with field managers to incorporate real-world measurements and feedback.
Managing multiple projects and deadlines with precision and professionalism.
Troubleshooting design challenges and contributing to innovative solutions.
What You Bring
Associate’s degree in architectural technology, engineering, or equivalent CAD experience.
2–3 years of SolidWorks experience, especially with assemblies and weldments.
Strong understanding of architectural and structural drawings.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Bluebeam Revu is a plus.
