We are looking for a University Relations (UR) Coordinator who will support our Student Placements and University Relations. The UR Coordinator for Student Programs and University Relations plays a pivotal role in supporting our early career initiatives by managing student placements and fostering relationships with universities. This position will support the coordination of clinical rotations for students, ensure smooth placement processes, and contribute to creating a sustainable talent pipeline. This position will report to the Manager of University Relations and the Manager of Student Programming and will also work closely with other Ivy Health leaders. RESPONSIBILITIES:
CLINICAL AFFILIATION MANAGEMENT & LEADERSHIP ENGAGEMENT
Manage and oversee the scheduling and placement of students for clinical rotations within assigned regions across PT, OT, and SLP
Ensure all aspects of a student’s clinical experience are finalized, including details of the rotation, contracts, compliance documents, and student information
Partner with various Directors of Clinical Education at colleges and universities across the country to facilitate the placement of students in clinical rotations at Ivy clinics
Serve as a liaison between universities, students, and internal Ivy teammates, including CDs, CI/FWEs, recruiting, and operations
Track and manage student placement assignments across multiple platforms including Exxat, Smartsheet, and Workday
Manage administrative duties that pertain to student programming including student clinic identification and specialties, CI/FWE list management, student information tracking, and post-affiliation outcomes & tracking
Address any issues or concerns related to student placements and provide ongoing support to students, clinical instructors, and university contacts
UNIVERSITY RELATIONS & PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Assist with University Relations to plan, promote and attend student recruitment events such as career fairs, student information sessions, and networking events to promote clinical education opportunities at Ivy Rehab
Assist with external vendors as needed in administrative support in event planning
Support strategic development plans for Student Placements and University Relations
Work both independently and collaboratively to execute projects
Support student conversion efforts alongside Talent Acquisition and Operations
Perform other related duties as required and assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree preferred
At least 2-3 years of experience in project coordination, university relations, or student program management, preferably in a healthcare setting
Ability to work independently and be self-driven
Ability to travel as needed for university events and conferences (less than 10% travel expected)
SKILLS:
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with students, university representatives, and internal stakeholders
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with project management software is a plus.
Knowledge of physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech language pathology education and clinical rotations is preferred but not required
Desire to contribute to a positive candidate experience and interest in working with universities and students
Must be detail oriented, resourceful, responsive, and be able to function in a fast-paced environment
