Loader, No CDL

Description

The Loader, No CDL is responsible for safely loading and unloading dry bulk and/or liquid products into trailers or containers while following all safety, quality, and environmental procedures. This role plays a key part in terminal operations by ensuring proper handling of materials, maintaining equipment, and supporting yard organization. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced outdoor environment.

Summary of Essential Job Functions

Loading & Product Handling

• Safely load and unload trailers using hoses, valves, pumps, and related equipment.
• Follow proper procedures to prevent contamination and spills.
• Confirm product types and volumes match shipping instructions before loading.

Yard & Equipment Support

• Assist in positioning trailers for loading and unloading (with spotters or equipment, not requiring a CDL).
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of loading areas, equipment, and yard.
• Report equipment issues or safety concerns immediately to terminal leadership.

Safety, Compliance & Documentation

• Adhere to all company safety protocols, PPE requirements, and operational procedures.
• Complete load documentation accurately and maintain required records.
• Participate in safety meetings and required training sessions.

Requirements

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Prior experience in a loading, warehouse, terminal, or industrial environment preferred.
• Ability to follow safety instructions and work effectively with loading equipment.
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools and hoses.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
