Position: Automation Maintenance Team Leader (Production)

Location: Nikom Amata City Rayong 

Job Scope:  Responsible for supporting manufacturing operations by driving the implementation of Autonomous Maintenance (AM) and serving as a key liaison between Production and Engineering. The role ensures equipment reliability, process efficiency, and compliance with cGMP, ISO 13485, and EHS requirements while promoting sustainability initiatives, product quality, and operational excellence.

Job Descriptions: 

• Lead and support Autonomous Maintenance (AM) activities to enhance equipment reliability and strengthen operator ownership.
• Serve as a key liaison between Production and Engineering functions to ensure effective communication, collaboration, and timely issue resolution.
• Monitor equipment performance metrics, including downtime and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with cGMP, ISO 13485, and EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) requirements and standards.
• Promote and implement safe work practices, risk assessments, and hazard identification activities to maintain a safe working environment.
• Support sustainability initiatives through energy conservation, waste reduction, and efficient resource utilization.
• Troubleshoot equipment and process issues, conduct root cause analyses, and implement effective Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
• Participate in deviation investigations, change control activities, and continuous improvement programs such as TLA and Kaizen.
• Develop, review, and maintain SOPs, Autonomous Maintenance standards, and technical documentation.
• Support equipment qualification activities, maintenance strategy development, and operator training programs.

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 3 experience in a manufacturing, pharmaceutical, medical device, FMCG, or another regulated industrial environment.
• Hands-on experience in Autonomous Maintenance (AM), Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), equipment reliability, maintenance engineering, or continuous improvement initiatives is preferred.
• Experience working in cGMP, ISO 13485, and EHS-regulated environments is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of Autonomous Maintenance (AM) and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) principles and methodologies.
• Sound knowledge of equipment maintenance, reliability improvement, and manufacturing processes.
• Good understanding of ISO 13485, cGMP, and applicable regulatory requirements within the medical device and pharmaceutical industries.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in tools such as 5 Why Analysis, Fishbone Diagram, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across Production, Engineering, Quality, and other cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives and promote a sustainability-focused mindset.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and relevant engineering or maintenance management tools.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to develop and deliver technical training, coaching, and knowledge transfer to operators and technicians.
