VP, Global Services: Payroll, Immigration, Relocation, and Assignments

The Role

The Global Services Leader is responsible for leading global payroll, immigration, relocation, and international assignment programs that support a diverse global workforce. This role drives strategy, governance, compliance, and operational excellence while delivering seamless employee experience across multiple countries. Working closely with Human Resources, Finance, Legal, Tax, Talent Acquisition, and external partners, the leader creates scalable and efficient programs that support business growth and workforce mobility. Success requires balancing global consistency with local compliance, while continuously improving processes, technology, and service delivery.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

• Extensive experience leading global payroll, mobility, immigration, relocation, or shared services operations.
• Experience managing geographically distributed teams and developing leaders and individual contributors.
• Knowledge of global payroll compliance, international mobility, immigration, tax, and employment regulations.
• Experience leading operational transformation, process automation, and service delivery improvement initiatives.
• Strong vendor management experience, including oversight of payroll, relocation, immigration, and tax service providers.
• Ability to build partnerships and influence stakeholders across Human Resources, Finance, Legal, Tax, and business leadership teams.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational leadership capabilities.
• Ability to drive controls and operational excellence, maintaining an audit-ready posture.
• Flexibility to work a non-traditional workday in order to support teams around the globe.

The Team

The Global Services team operates within Human Resources Shared Services and delivers centralized, scalable solutions that support payroll processing, immigration services, relocations, and international assignments. We partner closely with leaders and stakeholders across Human Resources, Finance, Legal, Tax, Talent Acquisition, and external service providers to ensure compliant and effective solutions for employees around the world. Our team plays a critical role in enabling business growth, supporting talent movement across borders, and delivering a world-class employee experience.

 

Fidelity’s Onsite Working Model
Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.
