Sentara CarePlex Hospital is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Family Maternity Center, (FMC), Labor Delivery, Recovery Postpartum Unit.

License and Certification

• Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire

Education

• RN-Associate’s Degree, or
• RN-Bachelor’s Degree, or
• RN-Diploma, or
• RN-Master’s Degree

On FMC, our shifts are 0645-1915 (day shift) or 1845-0715 (night shift). This position is primarily night shift but the employee could be asked to work a day shift if the unit has a greater need on day shift.

Required 1 call shift every scheduled period (every 6 weeks) but it could increase to two if there is a unit need. This full-time RN position requires the employee to work in one of Sentara's two-holiday packages and work every third weekend. Weekends for the night shift are Friday night and Saturday night. Nightshift on FMC also has Sunday night shift requirements in addition to the holidays and weekends.

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $41.93 - $61.01 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
