Technology Sales Manager, Boiler and Gasifier Solutions

We are now looking for a Technology Sales Manager, Boiler and Gasifier Solutions to join our team in Darmstadt, Germany, or Warsaw, Poland.

In this role, you will combine technical expertise with customer interaction, acting as the technical lead during the sales phase of boiler and gasifier projects. You will also support our service sales as the local technical expert. Working closely with customers, sales managers, engineering teams, and product specialists, you will develop competitive technical solutions that address customer needs and support successful project execution.

Your responsibilities

You will:

• Act as the technical lead throughout the sales phase of boiler and gasifier projects and support service sales as technical expert
• Work closely with customers to understand their needs and technical requirements.
• Define and develop the most competitive technical solutions together with the sales team.
• Lead and coordinate the preparation of technical proposal.
• Perform boiler thermal design and equipment sizing in collaboration with product teams.
• Present technical solutions to customers and participate in technical discussions, bid clarification meetings, and negotiations.
• Serve as the primary technical contact for customers during the sales process.
• Support the successful handover of awarded projects to the execution team.

To succeed in this role, you bring:

• MSc in Technology on thermal, energy and environmental, chemical or process engineering.
• Approximately 7-10 years of relevant industry experience.
• Fluent English and German language skills, both written and spoken.
• Strong knowledge of boiler plant systems, thermal processes, combustion technologies, and associated auxiliary equipment.
• Experience in the energy, power generation, process, or industrial sectors.
• Experience in technical sales, proposal engineering, project engineering, consulting, or technical customer-facing roles.
• Ability to understand complex customer requirements and translate them into practical technical solutions.
• Strong presentation and communication skills and confidence interacting with customers and stakeholders at different levels.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.
