Description
eleQtron develops and operates full-stack quantum computers based on trapped-ion technology. Quantum computing is a new computing paradigm rapidly approaching commercial viability. Our unique approach combines laser-cooled trapped ions with microwave control and tailored magnetic fields. Our next-generation computing machines under development will be able to find solutions to problems that are out of reach today, thus enabling new innovative products and services for a brighter future.
We are looking for an RF Application Engineer (m/f/d) to test, validate, and optimize RF subsystems at the core of our trapped-ion quantum computing platform in Siegen.
Responsibilities:
As a RF application engineer in the Electronic Engineering Team, you will play a key role in testing, characterizing, validating, and integrating RF systems that support our next-generation quantum computing platforms. In this role, you will work closely with our international team of physicists and engineers to develop, characterize, debug, and optimize high-frequency electronic hardware systems in advanced laboratory environments.
Setting up, integrate, configure, and validate low-noise DC and RF electronic hardware components and subsystems within our quantum computing platforms.
Support system operation, bring-up, commissioning, and troubleshooting of electronic subassemblies, control systems, and laboratory equipment.
Collaborate closely with engineering and firmware teams to develop and integrate RF subsystems for next-generation quantum technologies.
Take ownership of developing new validation protocols and defining characterization standards.
