As a Head of Marketing Vision Care Benelux supporting the Vision Care business across Benelux, you will be trusted to lead the strategic marketing direction, drive commercial growth, and strengthen Alcon’s market leadership across the Benelux region.

From our office in Mechelen, you will play a key leadership role in translating global strategies into impactful local execution while developing a high-performing marketing organization.

In this role, a typical day will include:

• Collaborating with Commercial, Medical Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, Finance, Supply Chain, and International Marketing teams to drive business growth and address market challenges.
• Defining and executing the Vision Care marketing strategy across the Benelux region, ensuring achievement of sales, market share, profitability, and brand equity objectives.
• Leading, coaching, and developing a high-performing marketing team while fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Driving portfolio and brand performance through customer-centric marketing plans, competitive analysis, market insights, and successful product lifecycle management.
• Managing marketing investments, forecasts, and business performance metrics to ensure optimal return on investment and sustainable growth.
• Building strong relationships with key customers, opinion leaders, and external stakeholders to strengthen Alcon’s position as the leader in vision care.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:

• Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Life Sciences, or a related field preferred.
• 8+ years of marketing experience, including significant leadership experience within related industry. Previous marketing experience must have been gained within the last 5 years.
• Proven experience in digital marketing, strategic marketing, portfolio management, brand development, commercial execution, and people leadership.
• Strong analytical, financial, and business planning skills with experience managing budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics.
• Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders, lead through change, think strategically, and inspire high-performing teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with fluency in English. Dutch and/or French are considered strong assets.
