Air Freight CFS Manager – Eagle Farm, QLD

About the role and opportunity –

We're now seeking an experienced Air Freight CFS Manager to lead our Container Freight Station (CFS) operation in Eagle Farm.

As the Air Freight CFS Manager, you'll lead the day-to-day operations of a critical freight handling facility, ensuring the safe, secure and efficient movement of cargo across the air and ocean freight supply chain. You'll be responsible for warehouse operations, regulatory compliance, cargo security, stakeholder management and team leadership, while driving a strong safety culture and continuous improvement mindset.

This is an opportunity to make a real impact within a global logistics organisation, leading a high-performing operation that directly influences customer outcomes and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities and duties, but not limited to –

  • Lead day-to-day CFS warehouse and freight operations.

  • Manage warehouse teams, resources and operational performance.

  • Serve as the primary escalation point for operational issues.

  • Ensure cargo screening, site security and RACA compliance.

  • Maintain compliance with ABF, Biosecurity and regulatory requirements.

  • Drive workplace safety, risk management and operational efficiency initiatives.

  • Oversee administration, stakeholder communications and customer service outcomes.

About You -

You are an experienced operational leader who thrives in a fast-paced freight forwarding or logistics environment. You bring a strong understanding of warehouse operations, cargo security and regulatory compliance, coupled with the ability to lead teams and build strong stakeholder relationships.

What you will bring to succeed:

  • 3+ years’ experience in warehouse, 3PL, Global Forwarding or logistics operations.

  • Strong safety performance and compliance outcomes.

  • High levels of customer satisfaction and service delivery.

  • Efficient warehouse operations and productivity improvements.

  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.

  • Strong understanding of regulated air cargo operations and security requirements.

  • Forklift Licence.

  • ULD (Unit Load Device) knowledge.

  • ASIC Card or willing to obtain.
