What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or vendors by following site-specific access control procedures and community policies at a residential location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor and/or vendor authorization, document arrivals and departures, and help to deter unauthorized access to the property.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with supervisors, property representatives, and/or emergency services when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the community, including common areas and perimeter locations, to identify unusual activity and report security-related concerns.
• Complete required reports and maintain accurate access logs, incident documentation, and shift activity records in accordance with Allied Universal standards and site expectations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable use of a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
