RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reading production documents to produce the relevant product/part.
Using the EDP tools provided to ensure supplies of parts and to record quality and fault notifications.
Checking product/part according to quality specifications to ensure quality.
Performing maintenance in accordance with the machine manual to increase plant availability.
Producing quality parts to achieve and secure sales.
Adhering to deadlines to ensure customer satisfaction (service level) - taking flexible time control models into account.
Continuously optimising processes to boost efficiency (CIP).
Performing simple setup tasks to reduce downtimes.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Technical Trade School or machining apprenticeship certification preferred.
- 5+ years of hands-on machining experience in a high-volume production environment (medical, aerospace, automotive, or industrial sectors preferred).
- Advanced knowledge of CNC controls (Fanuc, Siemens, and Heidenhain) and manual machining operations.
- Strong understanding of blueprint reading, GD&T, SPC (Statistical Process Control), and in-process inspection methods.
- Familiarity with production scheduling systems (ERP/MRP) and electronic data entry a plus.
- Ability to interpret complex work instructions and adjust processes to meet shifting production priorities.
- Strong commitment to safety, quality, and meeting daily/shift production goals.
- Ability to work overtime, weekends, and multiple shifts as production needs dictate.
