 Role Overview

Manager, APOC (Advanced Proof of Concept) leads the team responsible for building, running, and scaling advanced POC/POV environments that support AppViewX's global sales and solutions engineering organization. This role owns both the technical delivery of complex POC builds and the strategic translation of APOC output into measurable revenue impact - ensuring that custom work done for a customer compounds into reusable assets across the Presales engagement.

 Key Responsibilities:

Team & Delivery Management

• Manage and mentor a team of Dev and QA engineers supporting advanced POC builds across global deal cycles
• Own end-to-end delivery of complex, custom POC environments for enterprise and strategic prospects
• Set priorities and manage workload allocation across concurrent POC/POV requests from the global SE team
• Work cross-functionally with GS, Product, and Engineering to support workflow development needs, ensuring APOC builds stay aligned with engineering direction and platform capability

Strategic Revenue Translation

• Go beyond POV-specific delivery: build a framework that connects APOC work to broader revenue impact — tracking reusability of workflow builds into the standing sandbox tenants and customer in POV tenants, rather than treating each engagement as disposable
• Scope and support custom services engagements, identifying where custom workflows can be packaged into billable or extendable service offerings
• Partner with SE Leads and RevOps to quantify and report how APOC output influences pipeline velocity and win rates

Enablement & Partner Training

• Work with the Channel team to train partners on building custom workflows using AppViewX's extendable framework, enabling partners to independently deliver and support services.
• Build self-enablement materials and trainings to certify partners on AppViewX automation.

Process, Digital Twin & Lab Management

• Drive continuous process improvement to reduce time-to-delivery for POC builds, incorporating AI-driven methods and tooling into the build/test lifecycle
• Own the Digital Twin bucket — recorded, repeatable sandbox setups and configurations that reduce rebuild time and standardize common requirement scenarios
• Own lab management: environment optimization, resource allocation, and infrastructure improvements across the sandbox estate

Requirements

• • Strong background in PKI/CLM or adjacent enterprise security domains preferred (AppViewX platform experience a plus)
  • Demonstrated ability to translate technical delivery into business/revenue narratives, including scoping custom services engagements
  • Experience with process automation, AI-assisted tooling, or DevOps practices applied to lab/sandbox environments
  • Experience training or enabling partner/channel teams on technical workflows
  • Strong stakeholder management skills across Sales, SE, Product, Engineering, RevOps, and Channels
