Production Technician (Semiconductor) | Pasir Gudang

Job Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor semiconductor manufacturing equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Perform machine setup, operation and basic troubleshooting to ensure smooth production.
• Support production activities to achieve daily output, quality and delivery targets.
• Conduct routine equipment inspections and perform basic preventive maintenance.
• Monitor process parameters and report any equipment or process abnormalities to the Supervisor or Engineering team.
• Ensure products meet quality specifications and follow established quality control procedures.
• Maintain accurate production records and complete required documentation.
• Comply with Cleanroom protocols, EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) requirements and company policies.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organized work environment.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Supervisor.

Job Requirements

• Male or Female.
• Minimum SKM Certificate or Diploma in Engineering, Manufacturing, Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics or other related disciplines.
• At least 1 year of experience in a semiconductor, electronics or manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of machine operation, automation or manufacturing processes.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Willing to work rotating shifts, overtime and weekends/public holidays when required.
• Able to work in a Cleanroom environment and wear appropriate PPE.
• Responsible, disciplined and able to work independently as well as in a team.

Preferred Skills

• Experience operating semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
• Basic troubleshooting and equipment handling skills.
• Understanding of 5S, SOP compliance and quality standards.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Salary Range: Up to RM4.5k
