About the role
As a Product Owner (People Function) on a 12-month fixed-term contract, you will play a key role in one of Reconomy's most significant People transformation programmes. You will work closely with People teams, Technology, and business stakeholders to help shape and optimise People processes while supporting the implementation of a new global HRIS platform.
You will be responsible for translating business needs into practical solutions, driving process standardisation, improving data quality, and ensuring a seamless employee experience across multiple countries. Acting as the bridge between business and technology, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritise requirements, support HRIS delivery, and contribute to the successful transformation of the People function.

What we need from you
- Experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, HRIS Consultant, or Process Improvement Specialist in a complex business environment.
- Strong understanding of People (HR) processes, HRIS platforms, and business process optimisation.
- Proven ability to gather, prioritise, and translate business requirements into practical solutions.
- Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders, balancing business needs with technology capabilities.
- Knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies and product lifecycle management.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to influence at all levels.
- Experience supporting HR transformation, shared services, or HRIS implementation projects is highly desirable.
- A continuous improvement mindset with the ability to simplify complex processes and drive measurable business value.
- Fluent English, both written and spoken.
Bonus points if you have:
- Experience with Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, UKG, or similar HRIS platforms.
- Experience in international or multi-country organisations.
- Relevant certifications such as PSPO, Scrum, Agile, Lean Six Sigma, or Change Management.
