Your New Role:
 

As an App Developer - AI/ML at one of the largest global Media & Entertainment companies, you will play a crucial role in building and optimizing cutting-edge applications powered by Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. 1. AI/ML Application Development

• Design, develop, and maintain AI/ML-powered applications that enhance the company's core services and customer-facing products.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI/ML models into mobile and web applications seamlessly.
• Ensure that AI/ML features in applications are scalable, high-performing, and reliable, meeting the demands of millions of users.
• Build and optimize mobile and web interfaces for AI-powered functionalities, such as personalized content recommendations, intelligent search, and dynamic content creation.
• Implement end-to-end app solutions by incorporating data pipelines, machine learning models, and real-time data processing.

2. AI/ML Model Integration & Optimization

• Collaborate with data scientists and AI/ML engineers to integrate machine learning models into mobile/web platforms and ensure they work seamlessly across multiple devices.
• Conduct optimization of AI/ML models for high-performance deployment, reducing latency and enhancing the user experience.
• Implement techniques like transfer learning, deep learning, and reinforcement learning to improve model performance and overall system efficiency.
• Monitor and troubleshoot deployed AI models within applications to ensure continuous improvement and enhancement.
• Contribute to model versioning, model rollback strategies, and performance tuning in production environments.

3. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

• Work closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and business teams to ensure AI features align with customer needs and business objectives.
• Partner with software engineers, data scientists, and AI architects to align on the architecture, design, and functionality of AI-driven features.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions by applying a deep understanding of AI/ML technologies.
• Communicate technical challenges and solutions effectively to non-technical stakeholders and business leaders.
• Contribute to brainstorming and ideation sessions for new features or apps that leverage AI/ML technologies.

4. Continuous Improvement & Innovation

• Stay up-to-date with the latest AI/ML trends, tools, and technologies to ensure the app development process is innovative and competitive.
• Experiment with new frameworks, technologies, and AI methods to enhance the functionality and performance of applications.
• Regularly evaluate the performance of AI-powered applications and contribute ideas for optimization and future improvements.
• Collaborate with the team to resolve any application issues and refine features based on user feedback and testing results.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development practices by introducing new approaches or optimizing current processes.

5. Quality Assurance & Testing

• Ensure that all AI/ML applications are tested thoroughly and function as intended across all supported platforms (mobile, web, etc.).
• Develop unit tests, integration tests, and other quality assurance measures for AI-powered app features.
• Debug and resolve issues related to performance, scalability, and security in applications.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal guidelines for coding practices, security, and data privacy.
• Take ownership of the deployment process, ensuring smooth application launches and versioning management.

Qualifications & Experiences:

Academic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
• Specialized certifications in AI/ML or app development technologies are a plus.

Professional Experience:

• 3+ years of experience in app development with a strong focus on integrating AI/ML technologies.
• Hands-on experience with AI/ML application development, including model integration, real-time inference, and deployment.
• Proficient in developing mobile and web applications using modern development frameworks (e.g., React Native, Swift, Kotlin, Django, Flask).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and integrating AI models within cloud-native applications.
• Experience with AI/ML libraries and frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, and Scikit-learn, with the ability to optimize and scale models in production.

Technical Skills:

• AI & Machine Learning Expertise
• Deep Learning Frameworks – Experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, or JAX for training and fine-tuning models.
• Generative Models – Knowledge of transformers (GPT, BERT, LLaMA), diffusion models (Stable Diffusion, DALL·E), and VAEs.
• Prompt Engineering – Ability to craft effective prompts and optimize LLM responses.
• Model Fine-Tuning & Optimization – Experience in LoRA, PEFT (Parameter Efficient Fine-Tuning), RLHF (Reinforcement Learning with Human Feedback).
• NLP & Computer Vision – Depending on the application (text, images, or multimodal AI).

Full-Stack Development

• Frontend Technologies – React, Next.js, Vue.js for web apps; Swift/Kotlin for mobile apps.
• Backend Development – Node.js, Python (FastAPI, Flask, Django), or Go for API development.
• Database Management – NoSQL (MongoDB, Firebase), SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• API Integration – Experience with OpenAI API, Anthropic, Hugging Face, Google Gemini, etc.

Cloud & DevOps

• Cloud Platforms – AWS (SageMaker, Lambda), Google Cloud (Vertex AI), Azure (OpenAI services).
• Containerization & Deployment – Docker, Kubernetes for scalable AI services.
• MLOps & CI/CD – GitHub Actions, MLflow, Kubeflow for continuous model integration and monitoring.

Other Skills:

• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to tackle complex technical challenges.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for app development.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex AI concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• A collaborative mindset with a focus on working in teams and driving projects forward in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
