Description
What Will You Do
• Serve as the SME for Logistics, Stores Management, and Import/Export operations, ensuring compliance with Customs, SEZ, STPI, and related regulations.
• Manage end-to-end inventory control, including cycle counts, stock reconciliation, material receipt, storage, issuance, and inventory accuracy.
• Oversee movement and tracking of R&D assets, equipment, and regulated/sensitive materials across sites and external partners.
• Maintain audit-ready documentation and ensure compliance with QMS, Customs, SEZ/STPI, and internal quality requirements.
• Develop, implement, and continuously improve SOPs for logistics, warehouse, stores, and material movement processes.
• Manage logistics vendors, CHAs, 3PL providers, and service partners through defined SLAs, KPIs, compliance, and performance reviews.
• Drive cost optimization through effective freight management, duty tracking, invoice validation, budget control, and risk mitigation.
• Lead and manage a team of 6–8 contractors across Gurgaon and Bangalore while supporting R&D operational requirements.
• Act as the primary SPOC for SEZ operations, partnering with Tax, Finance, RAQA, government authorities, and external consultants.
• Provide strong stakeholder management, problem-solving, and proactive communication to ensure timely support for R&D teams and business objectives.
What You Need
• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Science, Engineering, or a related discipline. 10-12 years of experience in managing operations & logistics
• Certification or degree in Operations, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of Import/Export regulations, Customs, SEZ, and STPI compliance.
• Experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, and vendor management.
• Proficiency in ERP/WMS systems and logistics management tools.
• Advanced MS Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Experience managing cross-functional teams, contractors, and external service providers.
• Exposure to the Medical Devices, Healthcare, or regulated industry environment is preferred.
