Job Purpose
We are seeking an experienced, commercially driven Senior Technology Business Partner – Category Growth & Marketing to serve as the strategic technology advisor for Haleon China’s Category Growth and Marketing organizations, supporting the OTC, Wellness, and Oral Health businesses.
This role partners closely with business leaders to shape technology demand, identify AI-enabled growth opportunities, and translate business strategies into scalable digital capabilities that deliver measurable commercial outcomes. Acting as the bridge between business and Digital & Technology, the role combines business consulting, technology strategy, and AI innovation to accelerate transformation across commercial functions.
The ideal candidate combines strong commercial acumen, strategic thinking, consulting capability, technology expertise, and stakeholder influence, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the strategic technology advisor to Category Growth and Marketing leadership, aligning technology strategy and investments with business growth priorities across OTC, Wellness, and Oral Health.
Identify and incubate AI-enabled business opportunities across consumer engagement, marketing effectiveness, customer experience, commercial excellence, sales productivity, content operations, and digital capabilities.
Collaborate closely with Enterprise Architecture, Data & AI, Product Owners, and Innovation & Delivery teams to co-create high-level solution designs that balance business value, scalability, security, and enterprise standards.
Develop business technology roadmaps that leverage AI, enterprise data, automation, cloud technologies, and digital platforms to accelerate commercial growth and improve business performance.
Champion AI-native business transformation by introducing reusable digital capabilities, AI Agents, intelligent automation, advanced analytics, and emerging technologies into core commercial processes.
Drive business value realization by establishing adoption strategies, business readiness plans, success metrics, and benefits tracking frameworks to maximize technology investment outcomes.
Translate complex technology concepts into clear business language, enabling informed decision-making and influencing senior business stakeholders on technology opportunities, trade-offs, and investment priorities.
Promote product thinking, agile ways of working, continuous innovation, and business-led digital transformation across supported business functions.
Represent China commercial technology priorities within regional and global governance forums, ensuring local innovation contributes to Haleon’s global Digital & Technology strategy.

Serve as the primary strategic Technology Business Partner supporting Category Growth and Marketing organizations across OTC, Wellness, and Oral Health.
Demand & Portfolio Management
Own strategic demand shaping, business case development, investment prioritization, capability roadmaps, and technology portfolio governance across supported business domains.
Technology & AI Strategy
Drive adoption of AI, enterprise data, digital platforms, automation, CRM, customer engagement technologies, and emerging digital capabilities that unlock sustainable commercial growth.
Commercial Transformation
Lead technology-enabled transformation initiatives that improve consumer engagement, marketing effectiveness, commercial productivity, customer experience, and measurable business outcomes.
Value Realization
Establish governance for business readiness, user adoption, change management, value tracking, KPI measurement, and continuous business improvement.
Cross-functional Leadership
Influence and coordinate business leaders, Enterprise Architecture, Data & AI teams, Innovation & Delivery teams, Innovation & Service teams, global Digital & Technology teams, and strategic technology partners
Knowledge/ Education / Experience Required
A. Educational Background
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is preferred.
The successful candidate will possess a strong combination of commercial understanding, business consulting capability, technology expertise, and leadership experience.
B. Job-Related Experience
Proven experience as a Senior Technology Business Partner, Technology Strategy Consultant, Digital Transformation Lead, Product Manager, Technology Consulting Manager, or equivalent strategic technology role.
Strong understanding of commercial business processes across Category Growth, Marketing, Commercial Excellence, Sales, Digital Commerce, O2O, Medical, or Consumer Engagement.
Demonstrated experience partnering with senior business leaders to shape strategic demand, define investment priorities, develop business cases, and create technology roadmaps.
Solid understanding of enterprise applications, cloud platforms, AI, enterprise data, advanced analytics, CRM, customer engagement technologies, and digital ecosystems.
Experience collaborating with Enterprise Architecture, Product Management, Data & AI, and Delivery organizations to design scalable enterprise technology solutions.
Proven experience driving AI-enabled business transformation, intelligent automation, digital innovation, and enterprise technology adoption.
Experience supporting Marketing technologies, digital media, consumer engagement, campaign effectiveness, personalization, or content operations is highly desirable.
Strong business consulting capability with exceptional problem-solving, facilitation, stakeholder engagement, and executive communication skills.
Demonstrated experience leading organizational change management, business readiness, user adoption, benefits realization, and technology value measurement.
Experience operating successfully within complex global matrix organizations while influencing senior stakeholders across business and technology functions.
Experience within Consumer Health, FMCG, Retail, Pharmaceutical, Healthcare, or multinational organizations is highly preferred.
