Pay Range:
$41.10 - $61.65You will analyze complex financial, business, and operational data in such areas as financial and expense performance, cost-benefit analysis, forecasting, return on investment, and service performance. Analyzes trends in financial and business operations, formulates recommendations for action, and facilitates process improvement initiatives.
Major Responsibilities:
Prepares financial, business, trend, and operational analyses of products, services, projects, or general business that may include but is not limited to budget analysis, cost benefit analysis, analysis of technology/capital equipment, and vendor services.
Partners with and facilitates discussions with individuals and business areas to understand and prioritize business needs and processes.
Monitors benchmarks and market trends, and prepares financial projections. Plans and assists in implementing process improvement initiatives and installing best business practices.
Creates comparative matrices based on the determination of total cost/benefit analysis. Assists in the development of financial proformas and product/service evaluations.
Utilizes systems and department software to develop, and maintain financial reporting tools to support business decisions, which include but are not limited to reports on savings, return on investment, and compliance. Prepares related reports, graphs, charts, presentations and other documents to support analysis.
Assists in and supports the development of business policies/procedures as needed.
Develops, implements, and evaluates special projects related to process and operational improvement initiatives, and recommends cost savings/standardization opportunities.
Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification Required:
None Required.
Education Required:
Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field.
Experience Required:
Typically requires 5 years of experience in financial analysis, cost benefit analysis, and budgeting.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:
Demonstrated knowledge of department specific functionality and processes.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access) or similar products. Expertise preparing, importing and manipulating information in spreadsheets, databases, and presentations required.
Strong analytical skills necessary to make sound decisions and recommendations based on data analysis.
Ability to successfully facilitate process improvement activities.
Strong project management skills and the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time.
Excellent organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to coordinate several functions and resources to accomplish objectives.
Ability to function independently with limited supervision within a broad scope of guidelines and established policies and goals.
Excellent oral and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to interact professionally providers, leadership, and other staff.
Preferred:
Experience with MS Tools, including PowerBI
Using PowerBI to connect sources of data to create visuals
Comfort level speaking with and collaborating with business leaders
Experience working with outside vendors
Epic and/or Workday experience
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
The incumbent may be exposed to road and weather conditions.
Generally will be exposed to a normal office environment.
Operates all equipment necessary to perform the job.
