Description

Posterity Group LLC is a veteran owned, service-disabled small business, headquartered in Rockville, MD, that specializes in federal government contracting and staffing. We are tasked with staffing the Dallas VA Medical Center with Electricians. These electricians will be expected to perform the following:  

Scheduling:

8:00 a.m.  through 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, Federal Holidays excluded 

•  Maintaining and repairing a wide range  of electrical systems throughout the hospital, including motors, HVAC components,  alarms, medical and laboratory equipment, lighting, and major utility infrastructure  such as switchgear, transformers, and emergency power systems. 
• Duties include  troubleshooting electrical issues using diagnostic instruments, installing and  modifying circuits and conduits, performing preventive maintenance on motors and  control equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety standards and the National  Electrical Code. 
• The employee works with minimal supervision, may oversee  helpers, and must understand the hazards of working with voltages up to 4160 volts  AC. 
• The role requires frequent physical exertion, heavy lifting, and work in both  indoor and outdoor environments, sometimes in cramped areas or at heights, with  risks such as electrical shock and burns.  

Requirements

•  Active Texas state Electrician license 
•  OSHA certification 
• at least 3 years of relevant experience
