Operations Supervisor – Hazelmere, W.A
About the role and Opportunity -
We're currently seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to join our Retail & Consumer division and lead transport operations supporting our Beverages contract in Western Australia.
Based in Hazelmere, you will play a critical role in the day-to-day supervision of transport operations, ensuring customer products are delivered safely, efficiently and on time across Metro Perth. Working alongside a leading beverage supplier, you'll lead frontline transport activities, support a team of drivers, drive operational performance and maintain the highest standards of safety, service and compliance.
This is an excellent opportunity for a transport professional who enjoys leading from the front, building high-performing teams and delivering exceptional customer outcomes.
Key Responsibilities and duties, but not limited to –
Coordinate daily transport operations to ensure service, safety and customer expectations are achieved.
Liaise with customers regarding delivery schedules, load requirements and transport planning.
Lead, coach and support drivers through regular communication, toolbox talks and operational engagement.
Monitor KPIs, investigate service failures and implement corrective actions to drive performance improvements.
Maintain operational records, reporting and documentation to support compliance and invoicing requirements.
Drive a strong safety culture by ensuring compliance with HSE requirements, Chain of Responsibility obligations and Toll policies.
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement across transport operations and customer service delivery.
About You –
You are an experienced transport or logistics leader with a passion for operational excellence and customer service. You bring strong leadership capability, enjoy solving problems and thrive in a fast-paced environment where safety, service and performance are critical.
What you will bring to succeed:
Experience supervising transport, logistics or supply chain operations, with a strong understanding of transport compliance and service delivery standards.
Sound knowledge of Chain of Responsibility, workplace safety requirements and transport legislation.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to engage teams, influence stakeholders and drive operational performance.
Customer-focused with strong commercial acumen and the ability to identify and implement operational improvements.
Strong communication, organisational and time management skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and operational reporting systems.
