Job Description

As a Security Guard Unarmed Patrol Driver in Springfield, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Allied Universal Officer in a busy retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver’s license in alignment with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Join a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, and grounded in integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and/or staff by following site-specific procedures, access guidelines, and/or emergency response activities at the location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the sales floor, entrances, parking areas, and/or perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor foot traffic, observe customer and employee activity, and document security-related incidents, policy concerns, and/or maintenance issues for follow-up.
• Assist with closing procedures, monitor restricted areas, and help to support loss prevention efforts through visible presence and routine observation.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
