Line Operator (Sewing) - 1st Shift

Compensation: $15/Hr

Job Summary:

Responsible for efficient operation of the flex shield area, continuous production & inspection on production line.  Primary responsibility will be operation of production line machinery. Meet production rates & improvement targets. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manufacturing sewing experience is required.
• Clearly understand operating and maintaining sewing machines (long arm, overlock, binding, etc.)
• Understand patterns and how to incorporate any pattern into a finished product.
• Responsible for prototypes, and any trials needed within the area.
• Must be able to perform in a team environment.
• Must be able to perform multiple task ‘s to meet department goals.
• Responsible for all 6S in the area
• Practice safe work habits at all times

Required Experience, Education, Skills, and Abilities for Consideration as a Candidate:

• High school graduate or GED required
• Possess good communication skills
• Must be able to use measurement devices
• Must be able to read and write
• Must possess good math skills
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen & background and reference checks
• Line experience – Sewing experience required
