Job Summary

At Genesys, we’re transforming software engineering through AI, automation, and continuous improvement. As an Engineering Enablement Specialist, you will help engineers develop the knowledge, skills, and resources they need to be successful throughout their journey at Genesys.

You’ll create onboarding programs, learning content, documentation, AI-assisted enablement resources, and internal communications that improve engineering effectiveness. Working closely with Engineering leaders and subject matter experts, you’ll translate complex technical concepts into practical guidance that helps engineers quickly find information, adopt new tools and processes, and continuously improve.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys creating engaging content, leveraging AI, simplifying technical topics, and helping engineers succeed.

Key Responsibilities

·         Design, develop, and deliver onboarding and continuous learning programs that help engineers quickly become productive.

·         Create and maintain engaging enablement resources, including playbooks, documentation, presentations, videos, and self-paced learning materials.

·         Partner with engineering subject matter experts to capture knowledge and translate technical concepts into clear, practical guidance.

·         Use Generative AI tools to accelerate the creation, organization, and maintenance of enablement content while ensuring information remains accurate and current.

·         Support adoption of engineering tools, processes, standards, and organizational initiatives through effective learning and enablement materials.

·         Coordinate and curate Engineering communications by consolidating information from multiple teams into clear, consistent updates for engineering audiences.

·         Organize and facilitate knowledge-sharing sessions, workshops, onboarding events, and community-building activities.

·         Gather learner and stakeholder feedback to continuously improve enablement programs, communications, and knowledge resources.

·         Partner effectively across Engineering, Product, Operations, and other teams to support organizational priorities and cross-functional initiatives.

·         Stay current on emerging learning technologies and AI capabilities to continuously improve engineering enablement practices.

Qualifications

Required

·         3–5 years of experience in Technical Training, Learning & Development, Engineering Enablement, Technical Communications, Instructional Design, Program Coordination, or a related field.

·         Experience creating technical documentation, learning content, or enablement resources.

·         Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences.

·         Experience designing or delivering learning experiences in live, virtual, or self-paced formats.

·         Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

·         Ability to collaborate effectively with technical subject matter experts and cross-functional teams.

·         Demonstrated ability to use Generative AI to improve productivity through content creation, documentation, communications, or workflow automation.

Preferred

·         Experience working within a software engineering or SaaS organization.

·         Familiarity with Agile development, DevOps, cloud technologies, or modern software engineering practices.

·         Experience with Confluence, Learning Management Systems (LMS), knowledge management platforms, or documentation tools.

·         Experience creating videos, e-learning, or interactive learning content.

Ideal Candidate

A collaborative, curious, and organized enablement professional who enjoys helping engineers succeed. Comfortable learning new technologies, creating engaging content, leveraging AI to improve productivity, and simplifying complex technical concepts. Excels at building relationships across teams and creating scalable resources that make knowledge easy to find, understand, and apply.
