Reporting to: Group Chief Financial Officer

We are seeking an experienced Accounting & Tax Supervisor – Team Lead to join our Group Finance function.
Reporting directly to the Group CFO, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of accounting and tax operations, while acting as the senior technical reference point for the accounting team.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and actively participate in monthly, interim and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance and timely delivery of financial information
- Prepare, review and ensure the quality of statutory and IFRS financial statements, including reconciliations, disclosures and supporting documentation
- Oversee tax compliance activities, including VAT, corporate income tax, withholding taxes, myDATA requirements and related tax reconciliations
- Coordinate external audits, tax audits and statutory reporting requirements in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external advisors
- Act as a technical reference point for the accounting team, providing guidance, coaching and support on accounting and tax matters
- Coordinate accounting priorities, review key deliverables and contribute to continuous improvement of accounting processes
- Participate in ERP optimisation, automation initiatives, internal control improvements and the integration of newly acquired companies
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or another relevant field
- 8+ years of professional experience in accounting, taxation, audit or financial reporting, preferably within a corporate, Group or multinational environment
- Strong practical knowledge of IFRS, Greek accounting standards and statutory reporting requirements
- Proven experience with financial closing processes, preparation/review of financial statements and accounting reconciliations
- Previous experience in team coordination, supervision or acting as a senior point of reference within an accounting function
- Experience with ERP accounting systems, process optimisation and digital transformation initiatives
- Strong understanding of Greek tax legislation, including VAT, corporate income tax, withholding taxes and myDATA
- Experience in collaborating with external auditors, tax advisors and cross-functional teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
