What You'll do:
Job Objectives and Responsibilities
- Establish development standards, best practices of Software Development Life Cycle and ensure adherence through code reviews
- Review and provide guidance on technical designs and recommend improvements for performance and sustainability
- Oversee the design, development, integration, testing, implementation, and maintenance of SAP solution.
- Provide technical directions a team of SAP developers, including mentoring, and evaluating performance.
- Oversee development work according to specifications and project plans, ensuring adherence to requirements, implementation, testing, and integration.
- Ensure high availability, scalability, and reliability of software solutions.
- Closely collaborate with the Solution Architect(s) to develop a sound and scalable technical architecture
- Drive the continuous improvement process, including agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
- Participate in customer collaboration efforts aligned with product objectives.
- Perform error analysis and removal, and extend, modify, or adapt existing designs. Contribute to the development of new systems or subsystems
- Provides the technical oversight and leadership necessary to accomplish work
- Participate in project reviews, and develop project reporting, project planning, issue resolution, and risk mitigation activities
- Create technical project schedule, planning tasks, assigning resources to the tasks, and monitoring and tracking progress against plan across technical teams
- Prepare progress reports for internal leadership and for customer and monitor project progress
- Mitigate risks, address issues, interface with customers, and keep the leadership informed on project status
- Develop basis of estimates and program schedule for multiple solution alternatives
- Author white papers, root cause analysis, other solution related documentation as needed
- Foster a collaborative environment focusing on team learning and development.
- Mentor and guide team members as they prepare their deliverables and resolve project issues

Skills, Knowledge and Experience Required
- Must be a U.S. Citizen (no dual status)
- Possess active secret security clearance or candidate must be clearable
- 15+ years’ experience in SAP application development and demonstrated progressive experience from work as a developer to a leadership position
- 7+ years direct (hands-on) experience within SAP project (modules include such as EWM, FI, TM, MM, etc)
- Minimum 2 full SAP life cycle development implementations
- 3+ years Agile development process
- Current or past DoW experience (i.e. AESIP, LMP, GCSS, GFEBs, etc.) is desired
- Travel to customer locations as required

The salary range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Groundswell, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is:
$93,897.00 - $198,904.00
